2023 Gotland × Suffolk Fleece from Maria

Description
A very special fleece. Loose locks from her summer coat and she hasn't lambed this year. Grown between May and September. It is soft in beautiful shades of shiny pale grey, spins and felts well. Most of it is fine enough to be considered skin soft and it gives a beautiful drape in the garments I have spun and knitted from her. I have included the darker neck wool, shorter and may have more hay where she ate, waiting for the shearer but so soft and hopefully you'll love it as much as I do.

Well skirted and picked over to remove second cuts, large VM and muck. Some smaller bits of hay will be present.
Notes
She is getting paler as she ages but still shiny and soft. We use a essential oil based fly repellent and so it smells better than your average sheep but can appear mucky in places where the oils attract the dirt. This all washes out easily.
