Description
Greyface Dartmoor fleece - on the RBST 'At Risk' register, this is classified as a 'lustre Longwool' fleece.
It is a heavy (6kg!) yet soft fleece with the most beautiful locks (8-9" in length). It is free from VM although some tips are dirty (see note below).
It's a very open fleece and the weight of it has meant that it has almost become two separate pieces. Very slight cotting around legs/face.
White/cream in colour after washing.

Some dirty tips - I have had a trial wash on some of the dirtiest and the dirt cane out as soon as the locks were wet.
